Tree nurseries feed their trees up to 30 times per year!
Prior to your landscape trees being placed around your home, your trees were likely fed every 2 weeks for the last few years. Compare that to (maybe) 3 waterings per week they are lucky to get in their new location, and it’s no wonder new trees actually look worse in 5 years. Going from the nursery to the Landscape is like going from the Intensive Care to the Hospital Parking lot.
2-3 Feeds per year is our recommendation for most situations and it will make ALL the difference in the world!
When the tree is unable to take up the nutrients through the root system due to a deficiency, soil imbalance, or other problem.
We inject Nutrients right into the root zone for the tree to take up naturally.
Trees need more than nutrients to survive, they need Carbon (Sugar). We can apply this onto the tree to create the most healthy, vigorous, and organic soil a tree can have. This is the lead off feeding when you plant new trees in your Landscape!
Trees and Shrubs are constantly under attack from insects that can damage the aesthetic value as well as kill the plant entirely. Here is what we do to prevent this:
Product is applied to soil and taken up through the root system
Product is applied to the lower part of the trunk, absorbed into, and carried up throughout the tree.
Injected directly into the Trunk, these treatments can last up to 2 years.
We rarely need to do this any longer. There are just better options...
We have programs for Feeding and keeping your Shrubs and Ornamentals healthy and looking great.
Aphids, Mites, Scale, Pine Beetle, Borers, Powdery Mildew, Leaf Spot, Root Rots, Black Sooty Mold.
Soil PH imbalance, Poor Drainage, Nutrient Deficiency, Over and Under Watering.
Palms give a tropical feel to Houston, but some of them really need help surviving here. They have many deficiencies, poor soil structures, and cold intolerance to bring them down. We prevent that.
This is hands down the best thing you candy to avoid problems in the long term.
We feed and treat Palms on a quarterly basis by vertically mulching and by Injection.
Palms can get insect problems anywhere from termites to Weevils - We inject and spray with our quarterly program to prevent this.
Some trees have a very Compact Soil and are in need of Oxygen, we can Aerate the root zone to create a healthier environment for the tree to thrive.
Harvey changed a lot of the soils from aerobic to anaerobic by flooding the soil and removing the oxygen. This created a very unhealthy environment for our Trees especially our Live Oaks. Root Zone Aeration puts Oxygen back in the soil and allows the beneficial Fungi to once again dominate the root zone.
Many HOA’s require an ISA Certified Arborist to draft a letter with reasons for specific tree removals. We provide that service.
Many trees go into stress and sometimes decline from the work done around them while building a home. We prepare the trees for the stress by setting barriers for the Builders and creating a more dense root zone for the tree to be less affected.
